Abstract
The concept and features of the digital economy, as well as the main directions of the program “Digital economy of the Russian Federation”, approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation, are considered. The analysis of the key provisions of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 9, 2017 No. 203 “On the Strategy for the Development of the Information Society in the Russian Federation for 2017-2030” was carried out. On a specific example, the analysis of the redistribution of responsibility for the safety of property, the mechanism of full individual financial responsibility and administrative levers to increase employee motivation to ensure the safety of the employer's property was carried out.
