Abstract
The article presents an institutional approach containing the procedure for considering cooperation as a socio-economic system. The features of cooperative relations are considered and their model in agriculture is presented. A comprehensive analysis of new forms of cooperation has proved that their transformation is consistent with the processes of evolution of the theory of institutionalism and cooperatives as institutions of the socio-economic system.
