لوحات السقف الجنائزیة من جبانة حلوان

Abstract

عثر زکى سعد فى حفائره التى قام بها فى جبانة حلوان فى منطقة عزبة الوالدة على مجموعة هامة من اللوحات الجنائزية للأفراد من الحجر الجيرى التى يصور عليها صاحب المقبرة جالسا إلى مائدة القربين وأمامه اسمه وألقابه، ولأن المکتشف عثر على عدد من هذه اللوحات فى سقف غرفة الدفن ووجهها المنقوش إلى أسفل فى اتجاه وجه المتوفى أطلق عليها لوحات السقف ، وتظهر هذه اللوحات الکثير من المعلومات عن الحياة الدينية والإجتماعية والإقتصادية والفنية وعلاقة مصر بجيرانها فى عصر الأسرتين الاولى والثانية. The Egyptian Archaeologist Zaki Saad found in his excavations in Helwan cemetery in Ezbet El Walda area an important collection of funerary stelae of limestone for individuals depicting the tomb owner sitting to the offering table and next to him his name and titles. Zaki Saad found a number of these stelae in the of the burial chamber and its Engraved face down toward the deceased face, so he called it: ceiling stelae. These stelae show a lot of information about the religious, social, economic, artistic life and the relationship between Egypt and its neighbors during the era of the first and second dynasties.
