Abstract

India has been a place of trade and tourism for time immemorial. Traders and tourists from all nook and corner visited it especially the inhabitants of the Arab world. There were very strong and friendly relations between India and the Arab world. They not only carried back our goods but also they brought back our culture and academic heritage.Dr.Nawal Sadawi (born on 27th Oct 1930) is one of the great Egyptian writers among the women who presented great services to the Arabic and Arabic studies. She issued a magazine and wrote numerous books on current issues related to Islam and the Muslims. Apart from this Dr. Sadawi was one of the big tourists. She visited several countries and wrote her observations. Among the countries she visited was India about which she has left one booklet.The following article will shed light on her visit to India.
