Abstract

The formation of an anti-drug attitude among Russian minors becomes especially expedient in light of the growing number of criminal trafficking in psychotropic substances on the territory of the country, the general “rejuvenation” of crime in the illegal distribution of narcotic substances or their analogues, the high degree of involvement of the younger generation in the use of prohibited substances. The topic of combating drug addiction has been worrying the minds of specialists in the field of law, medicine, sociology, psychology, and public administration all over the world, including Russia, for more than a dozen years. In modern conditions, thanks to narcotic and other psychotropic substances, a large number of people are trying to escape from life’s difficulties, social pressure. At the same time, often, the use of psychoactive substances leads to deaths or psychoneurological disorders. Therefore, this topic seems to be very relevant for research. In this article, the author provides a general statistical picture of the prevalence of narcotic and other psychotropic substances among immature persons. On the basis of the analyzed regulatory and legal framework and the opinions of specialists, specific steps have been developed to form an anti-drug attitude among minors in modern realities.
