Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a guideline for user based collection development of the military library. A questionnaire survey of 1,000 soldiers of armed forces selected from two military divisions was conducted. The survey results show the needs for the sufficient collections with diverse subject areas. current materials. and Periodicals. and also suggestion of the programs for encouraging soldiers to read.
