Abstract
The article analyzes the dynamics of indicators characterizing the innovative potential of the Yaroslavl region, and gives its comprehensive assessment. In the process of a comprehensive assessment, the main factors influencing the development of innovation in the region are analyzed. The analysis made it possible to identify one of the problems of the Yaroslavl region in the development of innovation, this is the shortage of personnel engaged in research and development. Analysis of the dynamics of innovation potential on an ongoing basis will allow the formation of targeted regional programs to support innovative development.
