Abstract

The work discusses flexible manufacturing system modeling problem from its components’ reliability point of view, which heavily influences the overall system control process in case of operational management system based on synchronous model usage.Reliability model of flexible manufacturing system based on hidden markov models mathematical apparatus is proposed. Apart that, the work discusses certain problems of operational management, that can be solved using the proposed model. Such problems arise from the fact that different extraordinary situations happen during manufacturing process. Such situations are connected to manufacturing equipment itself and information subsystem of operational management system equipment either.
