Abstract
Certain variable factors can impact reliability and efficiency of power grids. In this paper, we investigated contribution of variable factors into operation of urban power grid in the city of Dushanbe, Tajikistan, as an example. An indicator reflecting some specific reasons of uneven phase loads in power grids during peak hours was offered. A simulation model was built in Matlab and typical scenarios of power consumption were analyzed. The simulation results verified that a power grid operation mode is subject to change depending on considered variable factors.
