Abstract
Projects can be used as both teaching learning and method and assessment methods. In the case of university students performing subject-discovery project and real-life problem-solving project about the curves of constant width, this study analyzed the mathematical competencies of the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum. Students revealed all six mathematical competencies during carrying out the project, and the project must be meaningful as a method of teaching and learning to foster the competencies. Specific implications were derived to foster the teaching abilities through the project.
