Abstract

The main provisions of geoinformation modeling of the condition of urban road verges are described. Key anthropogenic factors of negative impact on urban road verges are characterized. The necessity of using modern geo-information methods to study and monitor the condition of urban road verges is stated. The principles of geoinformation modeling of urban road verges are characterized. The definition of the geoinformation model of urban road verges is given, the tasks solved with its help are listed. A diagram of urban road verges geo-information model database structure is presented, the parameters included into it are described in detail. The general technological sequence of geoinformation modeling and mapping of urban road verges is presented. The conclusion about the importance of geoinformation models of urban road verges for the efficient organization of management of urban green spaces is made.
