Abstract

By integrating STEM activities in students’ learning areas, the children have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to adapt to a dynamically evolving pragmatic and technological environment. The skills developed through STEM provide them with a solid foundation for success, both in school and in real life. The biggest advantage of STEM is the unification of the individual disciplines of the curriculum. It is very appropriate to use binary lessons. The binary lesson is a work of two teachers, which grows into a creative process of the students. Why? Because it is always interesting on the border of science, because the activities there cause high motivation. This is the main goal of education – to engage students, to provoke creative search and cognitive activity.
