Abstract

Under the theme of ‘Ethical Review of the Educational Experience of Dance Leaders,’ this study aims to focus on ‘duty theory,’ ‘consequential theory,’ and ‘virtue theory’ to reasonably resolve the conflict situation experienced by dance leaders in the educational field. The results of the study are as follows. First, from the perspective of obligatory theory, dance leaders are of important significance in that they can develop a willingness to make choices in compliance with moral rules without changing depending on the field situation during dance education. Second, based on the core idea of ‘maximum happiness of the largest number’ from the perspective of outcome theory, it can help students make moral judgments relatively easily and quickly for class participation and smooth progress. Third, from the perspective of virtue theory, the behavior of the dance leader, who is an actor, to have virtue and make moral judgments through it can prevent immoral results in the field of dance education. In the end, the theories that can be used to secure the moral legitimacy of behavior in the dance education guidance situation were reviewed, and at the same time, it led to arguments to solve the moral dilemma situation experienced by dance leaders.
