The purpose of this study was to verify the causal relationship among betting inclination, exercise flow and psychological well-being of amateur golfers. Population was the general public who play golf as of 2015, that was, 341 amateur golfers. For data processing, SPSS 21.0 and Amos 20.0 programs were used to verify the hypothesis, and the significance level was set atα =.05. Also, measurement model and structural model were verified to confirm the causal relationship between betting inclination, exercise flow and psychological wellbeing. Bootstrapping was applied to verify the statistical significance of indirect effect. The results were as follows: First, betting attitude and perceived behavior control of betting inclination had positive (+) effects on exercise flow. Second, exercise flow had a positive (+) effect on psychological well-being. Third, exercise flow also played a mediating role in the relationship between betting attitude, perceived behavior control and psychological well-being. To summarize, the more positive betting attitude and perceived behavior control are, the more exercise flow is. This study could confirmed that positive betting attitude and perceived behavior control increase positive perception and emotional state positively. The significance of this study would be found in that it made a new attempt to get out of a negative view of golf betting and instead, provide a positive perspective on golf betting for the general amateur golf population who enjoy playing golf as a healthy leisure sport for the general public.
