Abstract

The clinical observation of ovarian pregnancy in a 29-year-old patient with newly identified ovarian and peritoneal endometriosis, which is considered as a risk factor for ectopic pregnancy in the literature, is presented. This observation proves that ovarian pregnancy presents significant difficulties for the diagnosis: in our study, the diagnosis was established only during laparoscopy. The ovarian resection and the excision of the endometriotic foci were performed, which subsequently contributed to the onset of pregnancy with a favorable outcome – emergency delivery. Key words: ovarian pregnancy, endometriosis, surgical treatment
