Abstract
This article raises the issue of global competition between states and corporations as the most powerful subjects of world politics. The global crisis of capitalism, intensified by the global coronavirus pandemic, has naturally weakened the social foundations of many political regimes of nation-states. A new round of global competition between competing groups of financial capital has been set. The result of this competition may be a new global conflict, making it inevitable that many national states will participate in it.
