Abstract

The transition of economically developed countries to the post-industrial stage of development is closely related to the process of accumulation and growth of human capital. In the XNUMXst century, the leader will not be the country with more natural resources or fixed assets and even finance, but the one with more and better human capital. Unfortunately, in Russia there is a situation where people lose their value for many statesmen, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. Based on this, the article examines the category of “human capital”: the difference in approaches to the definition of human capital is revealed; generalized and systematized features of human capital; the process of its reproduction is studied.
