Abstract

The article reveals the state and prospects of foreign economic activity. The dynamics of the main foreign economic indicators after the start of hostilities is analyzed, in particular, such complex political and economic conditions are taken into account as: large number of dead, wounded, destroyed thousands of housing and infrastructure, humanitarian catastrophe. The volumes of exports and imports in the pre-war period and in the period of hostilities are analyzed. Changes in the legislation of foreign economic activity of Ukraine are investigated. Considering exports and imports, they have a fairly high percentage of decline. Due to the blocking of ports and damaged highways, the largest percentage of exports suffered in the field of agriculture. It is noted that the reduction in imports was primarily due to the destruction and elimination of highways, logistics chains and reduced demand due to the large number of migrations of people to Western Ukraine and abroad.According to the changes in the current legislation, "critical imports" apply to imports during the period of hostilities, in other words, only some goods can be bought and thus foreign currency can be sent abroad
