Abstract

This article presents some changes in regional skills strategies as a result of The Fourth Industrial Revolution. Theories of competences management and industrial development were used. Semi-structural interviews of Sverdlovsk Entrepreneurs and Industrialists Union members was done. Core competencies development in innovations and digitalization are the strategic aims for traditional industrial regions. Skills strategies needs in development of the basic digital knowledge, the communications and cooperation, the digital content production, the information security and digital development.
