Abstract

To ensure speed in the operation of electromechanical converters, today a variety of solutions have been taken, both hard-ware and technical. So, to solve the efficient operation of the cold rolling mill KhTP-450, it was decided to use the SRMNV with a gear rotor. The purpose of this article is to consider an alternative to the presented rotor as a non-salient pole rotor of the TLA type. For comparison and identification of optimal geometry, the article presents several rotor solu-tions; the necessary studies were carried out in static mode at different current densities: 4 and 6 A/mm2. The result of the research is a table with the values of the moments for each design, an assessment and corresponding recommendations for use are given.
