Abstract
The article explores the issue of giving substance to the concept of “justice” within the law protection system in the Russian Federation. The author considers the so-called “broad” and “narrow” approach to understanding the category of “justice” and favors a narrow understanding. The article proposes a novel concept of viewing enforcement in the context of arbitration protection as the initial step in the state court’s fulfillment of its justice function culminating in the state’s judicial oversight of the arbitral award.
