Abstract

The presidential and then parliamentary elections held in France in 2022 first demonstrated a significant increase in support for the far-right National Association. Both in the presidential and parliamentary elections, this association received the highest results in the entire history of its existence. Extreme right-wing views for a long time left the National Association on the sidelines of the political system, led to its forced isolation. But significant successes in the last elections, the growth of its popularity among voters lead to the transformation of the National Association from an out-of-system party into one of the significant subjects of the political system of modern France, and its competitors will increasingly have to reckon with this.
