Explores the contradiction is a mismatch between the level of the external geopolitical threats of economic security, the discrepancy of recent geopolitical challenges of the 21 century. It is concluded that geopolitics has a 
 significant impact on economic security. To increase the level of economic security, it is necessary to improve the geo-political situation of Russia, ensure economic growth, which requires a number of organizational and 
 economic measures.

Summary
Исследуется противоречие – несоответствие уровню внешних геополитических угроз уровня экономической безопасности, несоответствие последней геополитическим вызовам XXI века. Для повышения уровня экономической безопасности необходимо улучшение геополитического положения России, обеспечение экономического роста, что требует проведения ряда организационно-экономических мероприятий. И наоборот, если геополитическое положение страны пошатнулось, то снижается и уровень экономической безопасности государства.
