Abstract

This study aimed to verify the mediating effect of job satisfaction and precautionary factors on the relationship between leadership and cooperation capacity factors of disaster organizations and disaster response operation performance by targeting a group of experts experienced in disaster sites. To this end, an online survey was conducted with 400 disaster managers (including 180 firefighters), and the collected data were analyzed using the JAMOVI program. As a result, it was confirmed that the independent and dependent variables had a significant influencing relationship, and each had a significant influencing relationship when job satisfaction and precautionary factors were substituted. Thus, it can be interpreted that the improvement of internal and external job satisfaction of disaster-related ministries and the establishment of a disaster management system for prevention can be helpful for disaster response operational performance.
