Abstract

Basing on the example of the comparative analysis of folklore texts and the works of Tuvan writers, the article reveals the folklore sources of satire in Tuvan prose. The analysis shows that the writers, having mastered creatively the aesthetics of folklore techniques of dialogue and humanization of fairy-tale and mythological images, created fantastic stories and effective satirical images exposing the acute social problems of the contemporary reality. Tuvan satirists, relying on folk-poetic means, strengthen the aesthetic possibilities of the satirical beginning of Tuvan prose in their works.
