Abstract

The agricultural industry ensures the country's food security and contributes to the creation of new jobs in rural areas, and therefore plays a particularly important role in the Russian economy. But the issue of providing the industry with qualified personnel remains the most important for the development of agriculture. Researchers are faced with the task of studying bottlenecks and their prevention by developing various ways to solve the problem. This article presents the segmentation of the agricultural industry and its main components at present. The main reasons for the importance of human resources for agricultural enterprises are identified: knowledge and skills, innovative development, problem solving, resource management, reputation. A qualitative and quantitative analysis of education in the industry was carried out. The main problems of agriculture in relation to staffing of the industry were also highlighted. Foreign experience in supporting and attracting specialists to the industry is presented using the examples of the USA, Europe and China. Recommendations are offered for the formation of support programs in Russia.
