Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the problems of the formation of the institute of immunity and its essence. Studying the genesis of the Institute of Immunity, during the study, special attention was paid to the peculiarities of the role, significance and provision of the Institute of Immunity in modern conditions. Analyzing the existing legal regulations, it was stated that the institution of inviolability is not a personal privilege, but an additional guarantee of uninterrupted and unhindered execution of official powers.
