Abstract

The purpose of this study is to create an E-commerce-based mass customizable Hanbok design online platform by conducting a usability evaluation of prototypes developed through prior studies and drawing problems and improvements. For this goal, this study surveyed, performed tasks on the mass customizable Hanbok design online platform prototypes produced using Adobe XD, and observed what problems arose during the experiment. The first and second evaluation were conducted and the final prototype was determined based on the results. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of the first formation evaluation, type B was a prototype with high user preference, which was provided with a recommendation service by experts. In addition, it was found that the prototype had to be modified and supplemented, such as by ordering guides and menus, visualizing and organizing items for recommendation services, suggesting consumer-friendly customization options, adjusting margins, and reorganizing the layout. Second, as a result of the second formation evaluation, all evaluators were satisfied with the modified prototype and showed improved satisfaction compared to the first formation evaluation result. However, it was confirmed that it is necessary to modify the visual design of the platform margin, typography, image, etc. and move the menu and information. Third, based on the evaluation of the above two times, consumers can recommend what Hanbok is suitable for the wear situation or the preferred style through the mass customizable Hanbok design platform, and design and purchase a Hanbok that reflects their style and size. In addition, through the communication between consumers and between consumers and brands, the final model of the platform that can share information related to the Hanbok and produce a variety of content related to the confirmed mass customization Hanbok design.
