Abstract

In the article, the author examines the impact of the COVID19 pandemic on various areas of Russian-Vietnamese relations, highlights the results of their cooperation to stop the spread of new coronavirus, and also points out the problems and prospects of the bilateral relations in the post-pandemic world. The author concludes that, despite the consequences of the pandemic, it has not fundamentally changed the structure of cooperation in Russian-Vietnamese relations. However, in the post-coronavirus world, Moscow and Hanoi will face major challenges, including an intensification of the strategic confrontation between Washington and Beijing in the region.
