Abstract

Due to the recent frequent occurrence of meteorological disasters due to climate change, a preemptive response to river disasters is urgent. For this reason, effective BIM modeling for maintenance of river facilities is required. However, river facilities, such as drainage culverts, are mostly buried in levees or underwater, and the size cannot be checked, and there are no drawings, making accurate BIM modeling for maintenance practically impossible. However, most of this problem can be solved by referencing the standard drawings and performing BIM modeling in the most similar to the real river site. In addition, a river facility modeling method for fast and elaborate maintenance with BIM automation modeling software was presented through the case of drainage culverts. As a result of this study, conditions for the maintenance of river facilities will be prepared.
