Abstract

This research dealt with the Egyptian poet Shehab al-Din Muhammad ibn Abd al-Moneim al-Khaymi، who lived in Egypt during the Mamluk rule during the period from 602 AH to 685 AH from the seventh century AH. Which shows his standing with the people of his time and who came after him. By looking at Ibn Al-Khaymi’s Diwan and reading his poetry that he was at the peak، of high quality and was influenced by the mystic poet Ibn Al-Farid (d. 632 AH) and others، his poetry came with a strong smear from the ways of the people of Sufism and their view of life and the universe.
