Abstract

The paper deals a mathematical model of the electromechanical system of rolling mill 5000 JSC «MMK». Block diagrams automation electric drive have been shown. Based on the block diagrams the mathematical model of the mechanical part of electric drive were developed and realized considering in Matlab/Simulink. The shock load transient processes of the rolling mill operating were received. The description of the electric drive as two-mass model is presented. In this case, this model can be recommended to study the influence of the load on the plate mill of hot rolling.
