Abstract

Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends in job stress of childcare teachers in domestic journals and to suggest directions for future research on job stress.
 Method: A total number of 139 studies for the last 10 years was selected. These studies were published in journals beyond the level of the registered candidates of the National Research Foundation of Korea.
 Results: First, the research topic of job stress was interests, which has flourished since 2015. Second, questionnaires in quantitative studies were mostly used. Third, infant and childhood teacher was most frequently conducted. Fourth, as a contents of studying the stress of childcare teachers, research on variables for self-understanding, leadership, emotional capability, and mental health as individual factors has thrived.
 Conclusion: Based on the above results, this study provides direction for future research on job stress.
