Abstract

The paper is devoted to assessing the impact of the state ideology on the system of folklore, using the example of Evenki folklore in the 20-60s of the XX century. The research aims to determine the degree and nature of transformation of Evenki folklore traditions under the influence of the state ideology of the socialist construction era. Scientific novelty of the work is accounted for by the specified research topic - the process of ideological innovations in the plot-motif composition of Evenki folklore is being studied for the first time. The research findings indicate the transformation of the content of some texts of Evenki folklore through the inclusion of innovative motifs into the traditional plots of narrative folklore. Ideological innovations supplemented the plots of the narrative genres of folklore, introducing the motif of class confrontation. According to the researcher, external ideological influence led to the appearance of texts of the fairy tale genre based on the traditional mythological and epic plots, which is uncharacteristic of Evenki folklore. The motifs belonging to the ideology of the socialist construction era manifested themselves to the greatest extent in Evenki songwriting, in which the new content was transmitted within the traditions of local groups. Over time, the folklore innovations of the USSR era in the system of Evenki folklore lost their relevance and stopped further development.
