Abstract

The article notes that more than forty years have passed since the “birth” of the psychological service in the educational system of the country, which connected as an inseparable whole — the science of the mental and personal development of the child and the practice of realizing the possibilities of this development in the conditions of the modern education system. It is emphasized that all psychological departments of the country participated in the creation of the scientific prerequisites for the school psychological service, in the development of organizational forms for their development and implementation in the system of education and training of practical psychologists. In addition, that a significant role belongs to the Psychological Institute of the Russian Academy of Education, which was established in Moscow in 1912 and throughout the last century has been one of the main centers of psychological science in our country.
