Abstract

The article addresses the problems of adoption of Russian children by foreign citizens. It is said that the requirements for potential adoptive parents with foreign citizenship are increased. Attention is drawn to the shortcomings of the system of control over foster families due to the lack of real opportunities to influence the supervisory authorities of a foreign State. It is concluded that it is necessary to establish an effective monitoring system for adopted children in Russia.
