Abstract

Тhe article suggests the conception of studying the game as a phenom-enon inherent to human nature. The author analyzes some of the scientific the-ories of the game phenomenon based on the age-related peculiarities of human playful behavior. Several stages of the process of game consciousness for-mation are identified and characterized as the author's interpretation: game as an impulse; game as cognition, game as a way of social self-regulation. The re-search guidelines, the purpose and objectives of the coming concrete empirical research are formulated, which, in the author's plan, will allow to model the space for children's play creativity, the basis of which will comprise the values of game culture inherent to ethnic groups living in Eastern Siberia.
