Abstract

[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to analyze the sequence of Japan's 2017 revised elementary school learning guidance explanation “Special Subject Moral Education”.
 [Methods] In order to achieve this purpose, we presented criteria for systematic analysis from the perspective of connection-disconnection through analysis of existing previous research, and then analyzed Japanese content items in “Special Subject Moral Education”.
 [Results] The main research results show that Japan most often uses the expansion-deepening method in linking content. Next, the same-deepening method was chosen, and the weakening method of lowering the level was never used. Looking at this, we can see that deepening is more important than expansion in the learning process.
 [Conclusion] Considering that the type of linkage appears differently depending on the ‘viewpoint’ corresponding to the ‘area’ in Korea, it can be considered that when Korea revises the curriculum in the future, it will be necessary to set the type of linkage by considering the characteristics of the area.
