Abstract

In this study, the motivation to participate in jumping rope exercise and physical development through jumping rope exercise were explored using the Delphi technique and hierarchical decision-making method (AHP). The expert group to achieve the purpose of the study was composed of 28 people with national team experience among the youth, the main age group participating in the jumping rope exercise, through intentional sampling.BR As for the motivation for participation derived through the Delphi technique and decision-making method, invitation from surroundings, intrinsic motivation, and extrinsic motivation were extracted. In invitation from surroundings, the recommendation of the instructor, from intrinsic motivation, health, and from extrinsic motivation, certification was given the highest priority. analyzed as having Sensory development, muscle development, body development, physical fitness development, self-learning, and physical injury were analyzed for physical development factors, and as a result of analyzing the weighted importance, rhythm sense for sensory development, lower body development for muscle development, height growth, and physical strength for body development. Muscle strength improvement in development, principle review in self-learning, and cervical spine injury in physical injury were analyzed to have the highest importance weight.BR
