Abstract

The research dealt with the problem of soil erosion in the countryside of Habbaniya district, including the research problem: did climate changes affect the problem of agricultural land erosion in the study area. As for the research hypothesis: the wind speed has a direct impact on the formation of wind erosion in the study area. It was also found through the research that the study area is characterized by a very high wind erosion, reaching about (1412,76) this rate even directs the region towards drought because of the lack of rainfall and the increase in wind speed relatively, and this directs the region to the most serious problems, which is the phenomenon of desertification.
