Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide fundamental data to expand the base of road cycle by figuring out the correlation between tournament management system and participants" satisfaction. And difference verification has also been conducted to verify their participation types according to the sociodemographic characteristics and their tournament management satisfaction according to the participation types. Regarding the study subjects, club members that have participated in a national cycle tournament on July 3rd, 2022 and B Metropolitan City life sport club members are set as its population. 300 questionnaire sheets were provided and total 250’s sheets were collected. In fact,219’s data went through computer processing. As the analysis methods, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach´a analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan were conducted , and all the statistics’ significant level is set as α< .05. And the study has drawn the following conclusions: First, about the cycle club members’ participation types according to the socio-demographic characteristics, there was significant difference in gender, age, occupation, monthly income, and motivation for participation in the tournaments. Second, about the cycle club members’ tournament management satisfaction according to the participation types, there was significant difference in compensation, progress, atmosphere, safety, and expenses of the tournament. Third, as for the effect that road bikers" satisfaction with the tournament management, there has been a statistically significant effect on the experiences with tournaments.
