Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine different in cognitive function and physical fitness factors by performing combined exercise in parallel with aerobic exercise and resistance exercise for 8 weeks for elderly women with mild cognitive impairment. The 16 study subjects(63.42±8.71 years) who participated in the study were older women who were diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment by the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA-K). The cognitive function of elderly women with mild cognitive impairment following 8 weeks of complex exercise was significantly improved (p<.05), and a significant improvement effect was also found in general posture variables for changes in balance posture (p<.05). Among physical fitness factors, there was also a significant improvement effect in the chair rising factor(P<.01). It was found that 8 weeks of combined exercise of endurance exercise and resistance exercise had a positive effect on cognitive function and physical fitness factors of elderly women with mild cognitive impairment.
