Abstract
This study is a qualitative study on the sexual health and sexual health behavior of the elderly. Sexual health was classified into mental, physical, emotional, and social sex health, and gender health awareness was identified. The behavioral characteristics affecting sexual health were life satisfaction, sexual intimacy, communication type, marriage satisfaction, and spouse satisfaction. As a result of the analysis, the relationship with the spouse, sexual intimacy, and behavior characteristics of communication methods were found to be factors affecting sexual health. Successful aging begins with happiness, so sexual health is a factor that determines the quality of life of old age. It is suggested that follow-up studies on the composition of sex health education reflecting the characteristics of sex health and behavior shown in this study are needed.
