Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the Chinese neologisms widely used in the Internet communication. The author summarizes new material on the topic, analyses the lexical units selected in the course of the study of the Chinese Internet discourse. The paper considers the factors influencing the formation of the Internet neologisms in the Chinese language, identifies a number of their lexical-semantic groups. The author makes a conclusion about the inevitability of changes in the word-formation system of the Chinese language under the influence of the Internet environment in the context of linguistic space globalization.
