Abstract

The evaluation elements of the shading device can be divided into two sections, energy reduction and comfort. In terms of building energy, solar energy is cut off by the sunshade device, thereby reducing the cooling energy due to the reduction of the indoor sunlight load and, in some cases, the proper diffusion light can be introduced to reduce the indoor lighting load. In addition, since the sun shade device is installed outside or inside the window, the heat insulating performance of the window is improved. It is also an architectural element that must be considered for building energy-efficient buildings such as eco-buildings and zero-energy buildings. In this study, the energy performance was evaluated by calculating the energy saving amount by calculating the cooling load and lighting energy consumption according to the condition of the shading device based on the thermal performance and natural light performance of the shading device.
