Abstract

Objective of the study is: to reveal the methodological characteristics of the institutionalization of public-private partnership (PPP) in the process of formation of the knowledge economy, identifying the forms and the most significant features of PPP. The methodological basis of the research was: system-synergetic, process-based, project-based approaches; principles of complementarity, updating and combining different systems, taking into account the human factor, structurality, resource optimization. Research results. The article describes the methodology of public-private partnership, including the theories of the public sector of the economy, state regulation and the mixed economy; identifies the main factors that determine the process of PPP development; identifies the most common forms of partnership between the state and business; determines the indicators on the basis of which the choice of forms of PPP implementation is made. Prospects of the study are to substantiate the cluster as a basic institutional form of PPP, which ensures the integration of science, education and business; to develop technologies for managing network structures; to develop the theory of network interaction of variable PPP models.
