Abstract

Project management practices in various spheres of human activity have received a considerable interest over the past few decades on the territory of the Russian Federation. In the modern world, considering an increase in the role of culture in socio-economic transformations, project management can be viewed as the most effective way to create the combination of traditional and innovative principles and the necessary measures to address various problems. However, little is known about the vital processes of project management in the arts sphere and the obstacles encountered in its implementation. The proposed study generalizes the experience of project application and seeks to define a methodology for strengthening cultural policy with the project-based approach.
The relevance of the findings for governmental and non-governmental employees and the potential implications for future research will be discussed.
