Abstract

For a long time, the state dealt with the problem of raising orphans and children left without parental care through the formation of special institutions, for example, orphanages and boarding schools. However, at the present stage, there is a tendency to raise children not in special institutions, but in foster families, in connection with this, foster parents are granted the right to secrecy of adoption. Adoptive parents can also change the first name, last name, patronymic, and the child’s date of birth for no more than three months in order to maintain the secret of adoption.
