Abstract
This work explores the characteristics of religiously motivated radicalization, as well as analyzes its causes and processes. Religiously motivated radicalization is a process whereby individuals acquire extremist beliefs and take part in violent acts based on their religious beliefs. The work is based on a review of the literature, empirical studies and data from various sources to analyze the main factors influencing the process of radicalization. The article presents the following main aspects: 1. Definition of religiously motivated radicalization and its differences from other forms of radicalism. 2. Consideration of religious beliefs and ideologies that may contribute to radicalization. 3. The study of social, political and economic factors affecting the vulnerability of individuals to radicalization. 4. Analysis of the process of radicalization, including the various stages and mechanisms that lead to the transition from religious beliefs to violent extremism. 5. Review of the proposed strategies and measures to prevent radicalization and deradicalization of individuals. The work provides a systematic review and analysis of literature and research related to religiously motivated radicalization, and allows for a better understanding of the causes and processes underlying this phenomenon. The findings and recommendations can be useful for developing effective strategies to combat radicalization and maintain social stability.
