Abstract
The article examines the factors of trust in law-making activity, as well as reflects the forms of expression of trust (distrust) in it. The author notes that the effectiveness of the law in its social dimension is closely related to legitimacy, an integral element of which is a positive attitude to the norms formed as a result of law-making activities. Trust in law-making activity is considered from the position of attitude towards the subject of law-making activity, the procedure and the result of its implementation.
